About me
Kelly Rizzi is an educator of 30 years. She has taught everything from preschool through eighth grade. She was a literacy coach, a vice-principal at the middle school level, a principal at the K-5 level, and currently she is serving her tenth year as the Director of School and District Support for Shasta County Office of Education. In this role she coaches classroom teachers and provides professional development in the areas of Social Emotional Learning, Trauma Informed Practices (Dr. Bruce Perry’s Neuro-sequential Model of Education), SEL (social emotional learning), ACE’s Master Trainer (Adverse Childhood Experiences), IIRP Restorative Practices, Youth Mental Health First Aid, The Science of Hope, UDL (Universal Design for Learning) and PBIS (Positive Behavioral Intervention Support).
